The section in chapter 2 about the limits of rationality was interesting to me. I agree wholeheartedly that we must begin to include emotional and affective understandings of the human person as we study culture. One can see in the church that people are no longer simply wanting rational solutions to the issues of faith. Case in point, there is not an apologetics class required at Fuller. Much of our generation are looking to feel the presence of Christ, to gain healing in different aspects of life, and to find meaning. They are not necessarily looking for absolute truth.
