Week 1- Wednesday

One of the ways that I can see McGaverin’s thoughts in the church today is within the culture of skateboarders in the youth group. Our church does not allow kids to ride their skateboards on church property because of liabilities. Thus, kids have to leave their skateboarding culture and practices at the door in order to enter the church. We have to find ways to engage with these kids off of church property, because their lives really revolve a lot around skateboarding. We cannot be a mission station.
