Week 1- Monday

I think the most interesting part of class today was thinking about how the medium of computers, not just what they communicate, serves to liberate, oppress, separate, etc.. people from one another. I can see this with junior highers and their cell phone texting. It is a sign of status if you 1. have a cell phone, 2. have friends you can be texting, 3. have some way to rebel that is not really all that bad to do during church, 4. etc…
