The praxis model involves a continual spiral of committed action, followed by theological reflection in which one analyzes the context as well as what Scripture and tradition might have to say about the context, followed by committed action, etc… Theology occurs throughout the process, informing both the action aspect of the loop as well as the reflection aspect. This is very similar to what we have learned in Foundations of Ministry with Dr. Branson’s ideas about praxis- theory- praxis.
