Week 5- Monday

Today for my example of the translation model I chose a home for the elderly in Tijuana, Mexico. In this context I would question whether the core of the gospel message would be about “accepting Jesus” because at such a late stage in the game of life, such acceptance could be easily manipulated in light of death and also in light of people’s mental illnesses/ senility in old age. Perhaps a vision of heaven and restoration would be appropriate.
